Donation to the Howard Garden Social and Day Care Centre - July 2008
|
As one of the first duties of his
presidential year, President Bob was privileged to present a donation
from the club to the Howard Garden Social and Day Care Centre. Bob
presented the Centre with a cheque for £250.00 which was to help towards
the cost of a new commercial dishwasher. The Centre's present dishwasher
was pronounced unsafe and as such presented the organisation with some
problems, as they provide on average 75 lunches per week for elderly and
vulnerable clients. The Rotary Club of Letchworth Garden City arte pleased to support the Centre and wish them every success for the future.
