Charter Night - October 2008
|
The 84th Annual Charter Night Dinner was held at the
Broadway Hotel on Wednesday 10 October. Attended by Rotarians,
guests, presidents and officers of neighbouring clubs and past members it was, as always, one of the highlights of the
Rotary Year. This year's speaker, our Oliver Heald MP, gave us a fascinating talk about the past ten years in opposition. He kept the 41 attendees well entertained and informed, with many Rotarians and guests following his talk with a series of well-chosen questions. The club was also delighted to award a Paul Harris Fellowship to Rtn Peter Jackson for his services to Rotary and the Community. Please click on the small thumbnails below to see larger images.
