Charter Night - October 2007
|
The annual Charter Night was held at the
Broadway Hotel on Wednesday 10 October. Attended by some Rotarians,
guests and past members it was, as always, one of the highlights of the
Rotary Year. This year's speaker, Dr Rona Tutt, talked about her year as President of the National Association of Headteachers and was able to give us all some insights into the secret lives of the politicians and celebrities with whom she had come into contact during her term in office! We were also delighted to use the occasion for the induction of Martin Stafford as a new member - we welcome him wholeheartedly to the club.
