Garden City Charity Walk - May 2005

was kept seriously busy this year, signing all 200 certificates to
present to those who finished the annual charity walk! 2005 marked the
20th anniversary of this popular event, where walkers earn 75% of their
sponsorship for their own elected charity and donate the other 25% to
Rotary Charities. The event took place on Sunday 15 May 2005 and led the happy walkers on a 15 mile route around Letchworth Garden City. Sticking mostly to the good paths of the Letchworth Garden City Greenway, participants were able to enjoy the warm spring weather. Rotarians celebrated another successful
walk with a barbecue at Wymondley Woods in the evening. |
