Bowled Over!
| The Club's team in the District
1080 Knockout Bowls Competition traveled to Dereham on Thursday 24th July for their
Quarter Final match against Dereham Rotary Club, the team being Dick Darvill, David
Brightwell and John Moys -Skip. Some excellent bowling saw the Club's team progress to the Semi-finals with a convincing win 27: 13 and we now await the outcome of the match between Ipswich East and Stowmarket to see who our next opponents will be. Unfortunately we are again the away team. I would add that before the match we were treated to a Bar lunch at The Phoenix Hotel by the Dereham team and we enjoyed excellent fellowship.
